IMG_4165Alyshan Taylor, MPH, has joined the organization as its newest Project Director. She will mobilize MDC’s drug-free community coalition as well as manage tobacco and prescription drug prevention projects.

Aly is a San Diego native and graduate of Florida International University. She brings with her experience in research, program evaluation and health promotion. She most recently worked with the Shelby County Breastfeeding Coalition and the San Diego State University Department of Public Health to improve health outcomes for women and children.

Stan Grubb has stepped in as the first Lifeline Regional Coordinator. He will help increase availability of addition and recovery programs in East Tennessee, such as Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous. Additionally, Stan will advocate for policies that direct drug offenders to rehab, rather than jail as a first option.

Stan has been in recovery for more than two years and is closely connected with the treatment community. He also has a background in media, marketing and video production, graduating from Southwestern Seminary with a Masters in Communications.
